Dissertation title: GiG: Garch in Gretl
The GIG (GARCH in Gretl) addon package provides access to various GARCH models within the gretl econometric software. This package can be used for estimating models such as the GJR-GARCH, QGARCH, and GARCH-M models, which are designed to capture asymmetries in volatility and the influence of volatility on the mean equation.
